Artist Books

Ellen Johansen and M G Walker are creating Artist Books to show detailed vignettes of 

their larger collaborative works. The first Artist Book will be published in February 2015 both

as a physical book and as a digital book. Interested public will be able to view this Artist

Book at the upcoming exhibition in March 2015 in Auckland.

Exhibition location and dates are March 13-29 at

Railway Street Studios and Gallery,

Railway Street, Newmarket, Auckland.

Walker & Hall 2014 Finalists M G Walker & Ellen Johansen

Auckland based artists M G Walker and Ellen Johansen were finalists in the Walker & Hall Waiheke Award 2014. Here is the collaborative painting selected for the exhibition, which opened on Saturday 25 October and runs for three weeks at the Waiheke Island Community Art Gallery, Waiheke Island, Auckland.

ART FOR ARTS SAKE - MONEY FOR MATIATIA'S SAKE AUCTION, WAIHEKE ISLAND

Artists Ellen Johansen and M G Walker, together with other Waiheke artists, contributed art works to this important fundraiser.

Waiheke Library was the venue for the Art for Arts Sake - Money for Matiatia's Sake Auction on the 7th October.

This fundraising event, hosted by John Hawkesby, raised over $20,000 for the cause.
