M G Walker has been selected as a finalist in the New Zealand and Painting Award 2014 for a collaborative painting with the New Zealand colour-field painter Ellen Johansen. The painting, titled "Mind of Dreams", is 1 metre by 1 metre in size and the medium is acrylic, brush and ink on board.
